Message I'd be willing to bet that the caliper has a piston that is sticking. Your symptoms sound exactly the same as my wife's last Lexus. When I pulled the caliper and pumped the piston out, while there was no rust pitting on the piston or the piston bore, there was enough crud to not permit the piston to relax after you applied the brakes. It would not completely release the pad from the rotor making it squeal at low speeds, and disappear at higher speeds and when the brakes were being applied. I was able to clean the piston and bore up with 0000 steel wool, give everything a good flush with brake cleaner, lube the piston with fresh brake fluid and reinstall it. I then took the hint to flush the entire braking system to get rid of the water contaminated fluid. If you're running with brake fluid that's more than 3 or 4 years old, most likely you have a similar problem.
